Pineapple-Cornmeal Face Scrub Print E-mail

A wonderful combination for a facial scrub that leaves your skin

soft, since it sloughs off the dead skin cells. You'll love this!

1/ 2 cup cornmeal OR ground almonds OR rolled oats

4 tablespoons of unsweetened pineapple juice (fresh is best, but

canned or frozen is fine too)

1 tablespoon almond or olive oil, optional

In a small dish, combine the ingredients together. You can use any

of the suggested three ingredients to make the `grit' in the scrub. Use the cornmeal or the rolled oats if you're looking for something inexpensive; use the ground almonds to make a more luxurious scrub.

Add the oil only if you'd like something a little more moisturizing. If you have very oily skin, don't add the oil.

Pat the mixture onto your cleaned face, and work the scrub over your skin. Then, let it sit on your skin for about fifteen minutes to work deeply. Rinse off with cool water. Your face will feel great!
