Mosquito Tip Print E-mail

Here's a tip in keeping those pesky mosquito's controlled during the evening when you are sitting out alone or with friends in the evenings.

Take a white plate(must be white..don't know why..but must be....) add some water and mix with Lemon Fresh Joy(must be "lemon scented..but probably any lemon scented dish washing liquid will do)

Put plate with lemon joy mixture outside, away from where you and your friends are sitting and you will find that the mosquito's will flock to the plate, and after sipping liquid they die in droves!!

Folks this really works..though no one seems to know why..whether the color or scent or what attracts them is a mystery....my personal theory is that since it is well known they are attracted to carbon dioxide(that stuff you breathe out) that there is reaction going on with the lemon joy and water & possibly the outside air that is creating carbon dioxide....who knows..the point is ..this really does work!..saw it on a Gardening show...& have mentioned it to others & they seem to swear by it!! Perhaps I am the last to know of this trick???

You can even use essential oils in a room spray, which creates a more subtle effect than using a burner. Take a new bottle with a spray attachment-or reuse a spray bottle of flowerwater-fill it with water. Add 10-15 drops of your desired essential oil. Shake well every time before spraying.
