Choose 3 or 5 items from the following list:

Lavender flowers

Rose Petals (a variety of colors look nice)

Rose hips

Hibiscus flowers

Chamomile flowers

Mint

Basil

Rosemary

Layer the dried ingredients in a clean jar until the jar is filled and cover with a decorative lid or cork stopper. Tie a large tea ball to the jar with a pretty ribbon or a scrap of raffia. Label your jar with ingredients and instructions to fill the tea ball and let float in the bath or place under the running tap. Make sure to keep a jar for your own bath. Yield: Depends on the amount of herbs used.

Notes from the book: This is a beautiful gift for the bath and is quite simple to make. Just layer your favorite dried herbs and flower petals in a clear jar; they are also pretty mixed together. The herbs can be cast individually into the tub or placed in a large tea ball or muslin bag and tied under the running water tap for a refreshing bath. I personally would use the tea ball or muslin bag, as loose herbs tend to get caught in the drain!
