1 1/2 cups (110 grams) soap flakes* 10 tablespoons (150ml) distilled water 1 tablespoon (15 ml) glycerin 1 tablespoon (15 ml) sunflower oil Essential oil
* To make your own soap flakes, finely grate bars of Ivory soap.
Melt the soap in the water, glycerin and oil over medium heat in a double boiler. Stir with a chopstick or spoon handle. When mixture is a lumpy paste, remove from heat and add essential oil. Whisk by hand or with an electric beater until creamy. Pour into molds and leave in a cool place to set.
