SOME STEPS TO REDUCE COMMON COLD SYMPTOMS

With the thumb, press the low spots in between each vertebra, starting at the skull and ending at spinal base. Press the points you can reach for three seconds using moderate pressure. Do this twice.

 

Massage each side of the Adam's apple, beginning near the collarbone and ending near the chin.

 

Rub the neck deeply with firm kneading motions for 3 minutes, twice daily.

 

Put four fingers in hollow at base of skull. Firmly massage in small, slow clockwise circles for three minutes. Do this several times a day.

 

Rub underside of knees for two minutes. Then massage kneecaps for two minutes.

 

Press the hollows behind the earlobes for 5 to 10 seconds.

 

Press a point on the stomach about three thumb widths down from the navel. Use moderate pressure for 3 seconds.

 

Press gently on the solar plexus for about 3 seconds. This is the area one hand's width above the navel.

 

Press center point of sternum gently for three minutes. With your thumb, press a point on the bottom of foot under the third toe below the ball of the foot. Use moderate pressure for 10 seconds on each foot.

 

Note: Explore with your thumb to find the most sensitive point.

 

Take extra vitamin C, containing rose hips, bioflavonoids, and zinc.

 

Take herbs and teas that are designed to diminish cold-like symptoms.
